Sweep Series(Book 1,2 &3) by Cate Tierman

Morgan Towlands never thought she was anything other than a typical sixteen-year-old girl. But when she meets Cal, a captivatingly handsome coven leader, she makes a discoberyt that turns her whole world upside down: she is a witch, decended from an ancient and powerful line. And so is Cal. Their connection is immediate and unbreakable; Cal teases out Morgan's power, her love and her magick. But Morgan discovers too soon that her powers are strong--almost too powerful to control. And she begins to suspect that Cal--her love, her soul mate--may be keepoing secrets from her....secrets that could destroy them both.

==Book of Shadows: I liked the book. It was interesting. I like how the author explains complex things to you. It makes you want to walk right into your local Wicca store and browse. It makes you suspicious to wonder if the thing with Bree was maybe a spell to wedge inbetween hers and Morgan's friendship to isolate Morgan.

The Coven: I didn't trust Selene from the moment Morgan saw her. Interesting adding two more characters to the mix.

Blood Witch: I'm glad they were able to find out more about her mother. I keep wondering how far will that spell on Robbie go? And where is the come back treefold come in? I am suprised about the ending. I don't think the story needed that intensity. It was doing fine with just the mystery of her past and Cal's family.==

Never Cry Werewolf by Heather Davis

Moonlight can totally change your life.
And it all starts so simply.
You. Him.
The moon.
You're toast.

Okay, so maybe Shelby has made a few mistakes with boys lately (how was she supposed to know Wes had "borrowed" that Prsche?). But her stepmother totally overracts when she catches Shelby in a post-curfew kiss with a hot senior; Suddenly Shelby's summer plan are on the shelf, and she's being packed off to brat camp. It's good-bye, prom dress; hello, hiking boots.

Things start looking up, though, when Shelby meets fellow camper (and son of a rock star) Austin Bridges III. But soon she realizes there's more to Austin than crush material--his family has a dark secretm and he wants Sheby's help guarding it. Shelby knows that she really shouldn't be getting tangled up with another bad boy...but who is she to turn her back on a guy in need, especially sych a good-looking one? One thing's for sure: That pesky full moon is about to get her into trouble all over again.

==This was a cute story. Kind of cheesy that she was wearing the red hoodie though in the woods. Anyway, it is obvious that this will continue especially with that mark on her arm. Can't wait till the next moon cycle.==

Fairy Tale by Cyn Balog

Morgan Sparks and Cam Browne are a match made in heaven. They've been friends since birth, they tell each other everything, and oh yeah--they're totally hot for each other.

But a week before their joint sweet sixteen bash, everything changes. Cam's awkward cousin Pip comes to stay, and Cam starts acting distant. Morgan is stunned when her formally perfect boyfriend seems to be drifting away.

When Morgan demands answers, she's shocked to discover the reason for Cam's distance. It isn't another girl--it's another world. Pip claims that Cam is a fairy. No, seriously. A fairy. And now his people want Cam to return to their world and take his rightful place as Fairy King.

Determined to keep Cam with her, Morgan plans to fool the fairies. But as Cam continues to change, she has to decide once and for all if he really is her destiny, and if their "perfect" love can weather an uncertain future.

*******************************************************************************
==Interesting story. I liked Pip the most out of all the characters. Eden was annoying all the way till the bitter end. I don't understand why she (Morgan), had to bag on her Dad the whole time though. The outcome seemed pretty obvious, and all of a sudden she's in love with Pip, what? After just a few dances? I thought the fortune cookie was cheesy. But a cute story overall because of Pip.==

Red is for Remembrance (#4) by Laurie faria Stolarz

"I Know You're Alone..."

Shattered by her boyfriend's tragic death, Stacey is struggling in her first year of college, hoping that somehow, somewhere, Jacob is still alive. Now her nightmares are back, haunted by ghosts, and misery. Casting healing spells brings Stacey closer to Porsha--a troubled girl who's also dreaming of death--and to a strange boy whose life is in danger. To save him, it'll take all the strength and magic they've got. And maybe even cost them their lives.

****************************************************************************
==This book was the best of the series. Stacey really showed some grief over Jacob. I am so glad they took the focus off of Stacey somewhat. Porsha was a delight in her craziness. At first, this whole thing with Shell, I wanted just to skip those chapters. But when I read that he started to find that strip mall familiar...I was like "Oooooo... I know who this is."

I thought it was done well. Except for Tim just convieniently being cool with everything and just a friend. Oh well. I'm glad I can cross this series off my list.==

Silver is for Secrets (#3) by Laurie faria Stolarz

"I'll may you pay..."

School is over, and now Stacey, her boyfriend Jacob, and their friends have rented a beach cottage for the summer. No more stress, secrets, or stalkers. But then Stacey's nightmares return--predicting the cruel death of Clara, a mysterious girl with a secret. And now Jacob, the only one who understands Stacey's magic, is keeping secrets, too. Is he betraying Stacey's trust or protecting her from revenge and tragedy?
**************************************************************************
==Sometimes, I hesitate starting a new series. Not willing to go into a new world with new rules. It is so much easier just to go back into a familiar place with people you know. That's why, against my better judgement, I continued this series. I just wasn't ready to start a new book. So instead of re-reading Twilight or Hunger Games, I made myself finish this series.

I'm so glad it was just nose bleeds and these were kept at bay with just a drip. Nothing too gross. Nothing too stinky.

I didn't understand why the couples didn't spend more time together. Seperate rooms too? Serious? What doesn't make sense is if Clara was making this stuff up, how could she known what Stacey was to dream exactly? And the creepy dude with the camera...Crazy she just goes right in to his house. C'mon now.

Clara was stupid. This whole thing with EVERY bad guy in the last 3 books having something to do with Donovan. Enough already. I didn't think he was that popular. But I think the thing that impacted the most was when Jacob fell. That's what made this book better than the others.==
